On January 14th the “Entrepreneurial Warsaw” meeting, led by the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, took place at the Smolna Entrepreneurship Center. FinTech Poland was represented by Vice President Piotr Brewiński.
Representatives of organizations supporting entrepreneurs discussed specific challenges faced by businesses, their needs—including simplifying various procedures—and ideas to foster Warsaw’s development.
During the discussion, Piotr Brewiński highlighted the potential role Warsaw could play on the international stage in the areas of innovation and finance. He pointed to various initiatives that could help improve the city’s rankings to better compete with Western capitals such as Berlin.
The meeting also addressed proposed solutions by the Council for Entrepreneurship Development of the City of Warsaw, such as creating a mobile platform for collaboration among entrepreneurs, expanding office and conference infrastructure, promoting local entrepreneurship, and strengthening institutions that support businesses.
