On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, the ESG Working Group held another meeting. The primary focus was on taxonomy reporting in the context of sustainability reporting, with Zuzanna Machniak from PwCLegal as our guide.
During the meeting, we discussed:
- The legal acts comprising the EU Taxonomy and its relation to other ESG regulations
- The role and application of Taxonomy
- Technical criteria for qualifying activities as environmentally sustainable
- Key sources and auxiliary tools for applying Taxonomy
Two more meetings will be dedicated to Taxonomy, during which the topic of taxonomy reporting will be further explored. The next meeting will take place on July 31, 2024, and will be led by Weronika Wojturska from PwCLegal.

We hope that our meetings and active participation in discussions contribute to the continuous expansion of knowledge among the members of the FinTech Poland Ecosystem in the area of ESG.
