We are pleased to share that Piotr Brewiński, President of FinTech Poland, took part in a series of high-level meetings in Paris as a member of the European Digital Finance Association (EDFA) delegation.
Held as part of EDFA’s Q2 Supervisory Board Meeting, the event brought together leaders of national fintech associations from across Europe for a forward-looking and collaborative discussion on the future of digital finance.
A key highlight of the visit were meetings with representatives of ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority) and EBA (European Banking Authority), where participants discussed regulatory evolution, operational resilience, and the shared responsibility for shaping a more innovative and robust financial ecosystem in Europe.
It was a meaningful moment of dialogue and cooperation. It’s encouraging to see not only openness from institutions, but also a common will to act. I’m proud that FinTech Poland had the opportunity to represent our ecosystem in such a strategic European context, said Piotr Brewiński.
During the internal EDFA sessions, member organizations aligned on strategic priorities for the months ahead, including strengthening public affairs, scaling cross-border engagement, and enhancing the visibility and voice of the European digital finance sector.
We want to extend our sincere thanks to France Fintech, in particular Florence de Maupeou, Kristen Charvin, and Alain Clot, as well as Grégoire Charbit, Benoît Claveranne, and the ODDO BHF team for their warm welcome and generous hospitality.
This meeting reinforced our collective ambition to position Europe as a global leader in secure, open, and future-oriented financial innovation.
