On Thursday, June 27, 2024, the second round of the consultation conference on legislative changes to ensure the operational resilience of the digital financial sector took place.
FinTech Poland was represented by Zuzanna Krauzowicz, who is responsible for leading the DORA working group within the Foundation. She emphasized the need to standardize and simplify regulations related to ICT risk management at the national level and the need for external ICT service providers to be able to express their position before the Commission issues a decision referred to in Article 42(6) of DORA.
During the meeting, there was a discussion about several issues related to outsourcing, including the activities of non-bank payment service providers. We also talked about exemptions from the application of DORA, the inclusion of investigations mentioned in DORA, and the issue of hearings and oral explanations.
As a result of the conclusions reached during the conference, the Foundation deemed it necessary to conduct additional consultations within the FinTech Poland ecosystem.
