More than 1,000 people attended the 3rd edition of the academic conference “New Regulatory and Supervisory Challenges in the Area of Financial Innovation” on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, organized by the Office of the Financial Supervisory Authority – Department of Financial Innovation (FinTech), the Center for Regulation of Financial Services and Technologies at the UW Faculty of Law and the FinTech Poland Foundation.
Each of the three discussion panels was devoted to a different topic. The first panel session was focused on the DORA regulation and the regulatory requirement for ICT providers. In the second part, the discussions touched on AML/CFT regulatory requirements for crypto entities. This was a very unique, as it was the first meeting attended by representatives of the regulator and the industries, as well as law firms.
The topic of payment services, including account to the payment account by non-bank payment service providers, was discussed last.
The participants of the conference assessed its level very highly, which is why we set the bar high for the next edition. We would like to thank everyone for participating and invite you to the next events organized by FinTech Poland and our partners.
