On May 22, 2025, in Rotunda PKO BP, we had the pleasure of hosting a focused workshop: Enhancing AML/CFT Efforts through AI Collaboration and Regulatory Alignment. It was dedicated to the role of artificial intelligence — including generative AI — in transforming Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) strategies.
The event brought together representatives from financial institutions, fintechs, technology providers, and regulators to exchange insights and discuss practical implementations, regulatory challenges, and real-world outcomes of AI-based compliance solutions.
What did participants gain?
The agenda featured discussions on integrating AI into AML processes, identifying and mitigating financial fraud, and enhancing customer experience while maintaining compliance. A live demonstration of the GAIA-B agentic platform showcased its real-time capabilities, as well as testing approaches for security and regulatory alignment.
A dynamic firechat between experts from TAGSystems and PKO Bank Polski offered valuable insights into IT integration, AI effectiveness in real projects, agent-to-agent interactions, and the evolving regulatory landscape in banking.
The workshop concluded with a networking session and open discussion, providing space for continued knowledge exchange and relationship-building.
