The “New Regulatory and Supervisory Challenges in the Area of Financial Innovations” Conference is now behind us, marking the sixth edition of this event. The exchange of experiences and education in the field of financial innovation are key areas for the creators of the event: the Polish Financial Supervision Authority – FinTech Financial Innovation Department, the Center for Regulation of Financial Services and Technologies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, and the FinTech Poland Foundation.
On April 17, 2024, at the Central House of Technology, conference participants once again discussed regulatory, supervisory, and technological challenges. Panelists: Krzysztof Budzich (Ministry of Finance), Natalia Merdeyk (Polish Financial Supervision Authority), Mariusz Zieliński (PKO BP), and Marcelina Szwed-Ziemichód (MSZtax) analyzed topics such as: the scope of cryptocurrency regulation under MiCAR, the status of work on legal acts concerning digital euro, and the involvement of artificial intelligence in assessing creditworthiness and credit risk.
From its inception, the conference has been gathering top market experts and serving as a forum for exchanging opinions and presenting various points of view. Today, it stands as one of the most important industry events. The next edition in autumn.
