    We are a think tank, which is why research and analytical activity is our key competence. Since 2016, we have published a number of studies, thanks to which it was possible to identify barriers to the development of the fintech sector and deepen the knowledge about new financial phenomena and technologies.

    We are actively involved in acceleration activities, including innovation testing. Regulatory sandboxes are our specialty. We design, implement and help run them.

    Program is a technology sandbox for entrepreneurs from various sectors and market segments, start-ups, fintechs. The BIK HUB program, the main element of which is the technological sandbox, is a research space for professional verification of the real needs and market reaction to the designed IT solution. The first initiative under the BIK HUB Program is the pilot of BIK Open API, a platform integrating data from multiple sources. It’s easy access to a wide range of information based on geolocation. It is also access to integrated data of various entities operating in the field of real estate, finance, insurance, consumer research, digital marketing and data science.

    Sandbox Blockchain is the Poland's first business and technology platform designed to accelerate the development of innovative blockchain solutions, made available free of charge to the approved users The solution enables companies to test HLF blockchain-based services designed for the financial sector and other industries. The platform is a so-called sandbox, an isolated system that simulates the final production environment.

    SuperVision FinTech Talks

    As part of creating a forum for dialogue between the supervisory authority and market participants, we launched Supervision FinTech Talks. It is a series of webinars for the fintech sector, in which experts from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority meet with market participants to jointly discuss regulatory, technological and business topics related to the financial innovation ecosystem. The issues raised during the debates are strategically important for the development of the financial sector - therefore they require an open dialogue with the supervisory authorities. Discussions are not always easy, but they are needed to build an atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust.

    Fintech & e-commerce linking days 2022

    The 2022 edition is the beginning of regular meetings that will become important dates in the calendar of fintech & e-commerce practitioners.     The use of artificial intelligence in the optimization of the processes of fintech market entities

    The training aims to present the potential resulting from the use of innovative technology using artificial intelligence or machine learning to ensure an increase in the level of security of processes based on the use of information and communication technology in the activities of entrepreneurs from the fintech industry.

    The training focuses on the presentation of solutions in the area of ​​customer communication, operational and administrative processes, such as risk management, data exchange, customer identification or relationship monitoring. An important issue presented during the training is the regulatory framework for the use of artificial intelligence by regulated entities. In addition, the training also discusses the key challenges faced by the sector in connection with the use of AI, including the principles of accountability, cybersecurity, preventing prejudice, transparency and personal data protection.

    Cloud computing in the activities of entities on the financial innovation market (fintech)

    The training presents the legal, business and technological aspects of using the cloud computing environment as part of the processes of financial innovation market entities.

    The training covers issues related to the preparation and implementation of the process of migrating IT infrastructure to the cloud environment, ranging from risk analysis, legal requirements and compliance, through business assessment of such a process, to technological aspects of transformation. The training aims to provide comprehensive, specialist knowledge that will enable the effective conduct of the process by a fintech market entity.     Open finance - using the potential of open banking in practice

    The training presents and discusses the possibilities of using innovative services based on open banking regulations in the field of payment transaction initiation services, as well as account information services.

    The training presents the legal, business and technological conditions for the provision and use of these services, including the requirements set out in the technical standards operating on the market. The training is to provide comprehensive knowledge in the field of open banking by presenting solutions operating on the market that enable optimization of processes carried out by entities from the fintech market, both for their own needs and for the purpose of providing services to third parties.

    Understand decentralized finance

    The training aims to discuss in detail the issue of decentralized finance, with particular emphasis on cryptocurrencies and crypto assets.

    During the training, not only the regulatory aspects of the cryptocurrency or crypto-assets market will be presented, but also the potential resulting from the use of decentralized finance in settlement processes, but above all in investment processes. Innovative, previously unknown solutions available on the market will be discussed, including tokenization of assets or obtaining financing using solutions based on DeFi.     The training discusses the benefits of digitizing and automating the processes of identifying, establishing and maintaining customer relationships.

    During the training, the regulatory requirements as well as the business benefits resulting from the digitization of the customer relationship management process are presented. In addition, security aspects related to the fully remote KYC or KYB process are discussed. Additionally, solutions are presented in the area of submitting declarations of will, including concluding contracts, placing orders using solutions based on the eIDAS regulation, as part of processes carried out by fintech market entities.

    The training covers in detail and comprehensively the issue of cybersecurity of the activities of entities operating in the financial innovation market. It presents standards and technological solutions.

    Analyzes individual cases of attacks with the use of information technology, sociological eyes. It presents examples of implemented processes and solutions to increase the level of security of the services provided. During the training, the possibilities offered by innovative technologies in the field of preventing and limiting the effects of attacks carried out on financial institutions and their clients are discussed.
